CareNow Austin is seeking Urgent Care APPs who are board-certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med-Peds and hold an active Texas license and Texas DEA. Providers should have a minimum of 3 years of Emergency Room or Urgent Care experience, with Workers Compensation experience preferred. DOT certification is helpful, and providers must be comfortable treating pediatric patients ages 3 months and older.

Austin, Texas offers a range of outdoor and cultural attractions suited to varied interests. Clinicians on assignment may enjoy hiking and biking along the 10-mile trail at Lady Bird Lake, paddleboarding, and day trips to destinations such as Enchanted Rock and Hamilton Pool. The city is also home to notable institutions including the Bullock Texas State History Museum, the Blanton Art Museum, Zilker Park, and the LBJ Presidential Library and Museum, as well as the Circuit of The Americas, local caves such as Inner Space Cavern, and the Austin Zoo.

For the Austin market, CareNow offers flexible scheduling with 7-, 8-, 12-, and 15-hour shifts available seven days a week. The current need is for the South Austin region, which includes North Kyle, Manor, Lockhart, North Austin, and Southpark Meadows. Providers must be available to work both weekday and weekend shifts and should be comfortable floating between and providing coverage at all clinic locations within the assigned region. The EMR system used is Practice Velocity.
