Physician Assistant – General Surgery

• Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–2:30 PM — no call, nights or weekends
• $120K–$160K annualized FTE compensation + medical, dental, PTO & retirement benefits

Are you an experienced Physician Assistant looking for a surgical practice focused entirely on elective care, with no trauma, emergency call, nights, or weekends?

Cascade Hernia & Surgical Solutions is seeking a Clinical Physician Assistant to work closely with Dr. Robert C. Wright and his surgical patients throughout the preoperative and postoperative process, with the opportunity to assist in the operating room.

This position offers the opportunity to build meaningful general surgery experience in a focused, fast-paced general surgery clinic and ambulatory surgery center, while enjoying a predictable Monday-Friday schedule.

The Practice

Dr. Wright performs approximately 12–19 surgical cases per week, primarily involving Hernia surgery, Gallbladder surgery or other elective general surgical procedures.

The practice focuses on elective, medically necessary surgery - there is no trauma service and no emergency surgery or call.

The PA will work closely with Dr. Wright and his patients in:

• Preoperative consultations
• Postoperative visits and follow-up
• Surgical patient management
• · Patient education and coordination of care
• Operating room assisting

Prior surgical or operating room experience is helpful but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• Approximately 9:00 AM-2:30 PM
• Approximately 5-6 hours per day
• 0.6-0.75 FTE
• No call, no nights, no weekends
• Major holidays off

Compensation & Benefits

• $120,000-$160,000 annualized full-time equivalent compensation
• Actual compensation prorated according to FTE

Qualifications

• Current Physician Assistant license or eligibility in Washington State
• 3+ years of clinical experience
• Strong clinical consultation and patient assessment skills
• ACLS/BLS certification
• DEA registration
• Previous surgical or operating room experience helpful, but not required
• Willingness to learn and assist with surgical procedures
