CV/CT Surgery First Assist Nurse Practitioner | Ongoing Locums Job and Great Location in Texas
Information for Assignment #116507:
*Texas License required
*Graduate of an accredited Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program
*Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
*Seeking candidates with a minimum of 1–2 years of cardiothoracic or cardiovascular surgery experience
*Vein Harvesting not required
*Monday-Friday, typically 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
*Weekday call approximately once per week; Weekend call every 4th or 5th weekend
*Surgical: Serve as First Assist in cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgical procedures
*Preoperative and postoperative patient management
*1-2 cardiovascular surgery cases per day, depending on call coverage
*EMR: Epic
*Support: Travel, lodging, and premium malpractice insurance coverage provided for the duration of the assignment
