Details:

• Preferred Start Date: November 16, 2026
• Schedule: 3 days per week, approximately 25–30 hours, see below
• Pay: $60 per hour
• Experience: No prior experience required; new graduates are welcome
• Required Specialty: Pediatric NP or PA; Family Practice/FNP candidates are not preferred

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive primary care to infants, children, and adolescents.
• Conduct age-appropriate physical exams, evaluate patient concerns, and diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions.
• Recommend, prescribe, and manage medications and other appropriate treatments.
• Order, review, and interpret laboratory work, diagnostic studies, and other clinical tests.
• Educate children and their caregivers about preventive healthcare, healthy development, disease prevention, and ongoing management of chronic conditions.
• Work closely with physicians, nurses, specialists, and other members of the healthcare team to coordinate individualized patient care.
• Offer guidance, education, and emotional support to pediatric patients and their families throughout the course of care.

• Pediatric skin and dermatologic care
• Sports and athletic physical examinations
• Routine and recommended childhood immunizations
• Behavioral health evaluations and mental health support

Required Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Nurse Practitioner license
• Master’s or Doctorate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Schedule

• Monday & Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Tuesday & Thursday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM: Work 1 of these days
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Work 2 out of 4 Saturdays per month
• Sunday: Closed
