Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct inpatient care as a practicing hospitalist
- Assist in overseeing daily hospital medicine operations and clinician scheduling
- Support quality, patient safety, and performance improvement initiatives
- Mentor and support hospitalists and advanced practice clinicians
- Collaborate with nursing, case management, and medical staff leadership to improve patient outcomes an operational efficiency
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and clinician performance management
- Previous physician leadership experience
- Experience with quality improvement, throughput, and healthcare operations
