- 24-hour shifts -- 8 am to 8 am
- 3 - 6 patients per shift
- Level II NICU -- hospital setting
- APPs collaborate with MDs; APP oversees daily patient care
- Procedures required -- UVC/UAC lines, chest tubes, LPs, intubations
- Admissions required; rounding on assigned patients
