Southeast Wisconsin Family Nurse Practitioner Job-Lake Michigan Coast

A reputable healthcare system located in Southeast Wisconsin has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join a well-established and busy Family Medicine. This full-time role offers a dynamic blend of outpatient clinic care and inpatient rounding responsibilities, working closely with a dedicated physician to provide comprehensive patient care.

Position Highlights:

• Full-time (Minimum of 40 hours per week)
• Schedule may include early mornings, late evenings, and weekends
• Collaborative role in both clinic and hospital settings
• Involvement in all aspects of patient care, including:
  • Assisting with hospital rounds
  • Following through on treatment plans
  • Reviewing and evaluating test results
  • Documenting medical records
  • Conducting patient follow-up communications
  • Opportunity to care for patients across the lifespan

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Training: Completion of a nurse practitioner program accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year practicing as a provider in a primary care setting with patients of all ages
• Licensure/Certification: Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Wisconsin (or ability to obtain)
