This correctional facility delivers outpatient and clinic-based primary care services to an adult patient population within a secure clinical environment in New Mexico. The facility operates with established protocols suited to corrections-based healthcare delivery, with a credentialing timeframe of approximately one week. Clinical workflows are structured to address the primary care needs of the patient population served within the medium-security correctional setting.

New Mexico offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor, natural, and cultural attractions suited to varied interests. The state features regional destinations for outdoor recreation, scenic drives through diverse landscapes, and cultural institutions that provide additional options during time away from assignment.

Clinicians will provide outpatient and clinic-based primary care services to adult patients (ages 18 and older) at a correctional facility in New Mexico, working 24 hours per week on a schedule of preferably three 8-hour shifts, with two 12-hour shifts also considered. The expected caseload is approximately 10 patients per day, with clinical responsibilities encompassing the evaluation and management of primary and chronic care conditions within a medium-security correctional environment. Required credentials include an active New Mexico license, DEA registration, and BLS certification; board certification is negotiable, and prescriptive authority is required. Proficient typing skills are required, and prior correctional experience, as well as at least 5 years of experience as a clinician, are considered advantageous for this role.
