- One 10-day stretch per month -- Saturday AM through following Monday AM
- Covers two weekends within each 10-day stretch
- 10-hour shifts plus 4 required night beeper call shifts per stretch
- 10 patients per shift
- Inpatient hospital setting
- Rounding on assigned patients required
