We are currently seeking Full-Time and Part-Time Nurse Practitioners (NP's) to join our growing emergency medicine team at our affiliated hospitals:
- St. Joseph’s Hospital Main — Tampa
- St. Joseph’s Hospital North — Lutz
- St. Joseph’s Hospital South — Riverview
- BayCare Hospital Wesley Chapel
Our practice provides an opportunity to work alongside experienced emergency physicians and multidisciplinary teams in a variety of clinical environments, including community hospitals, trauma centers, and stroke centers.

Your Role
As a Nurse Practitioner with EMA, you will:
- Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency care to a diverse patient population.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with a broad range of acute medical conditions.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing and initiate appropriate interventions.
- Manage patients across a wide range of medical and surgical specialties.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
- Promote patient safety, quality care, and continuity of care.
- Thrive in both community and higher-acuity emergency medicine environments.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
- Current APRN license in the State of Florida
- Cerrtification required
- Emergency medicine, critical care, urgent care, or related experience preferred
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient-centered care
