What You'll Need
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's in Advanced Clinical Practice, a post-master's certificate program for nurse practitioners, or a certificate from a CRNA education program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs/Schools or a comparable nursing accrediting body
- No experience required (2–3 years preferred)
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner; if applicable, RN Compact License, Virginia NP licensure (or eligibility), signed Practice Agreement and Scope of Practice/Protocol, and DEA license (if prescribing controlled substances)
- Ability to complete third-party payor credentialing and CMS Medicare/Medicaid enrollment
- Ability to complete Medical Staff credentialing and obtain appropriate clinical privileges
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Experience with intravenous/general, spinal, and epidural anesthetic delivery
- Experience across a broad range of clinical services, including joint replacement, spine, vascular, minimally invasive surgery, interventional radiology, maternal/obstetrics, endoscopy, and diagnostic imaging
