This fast-paced hospital supports anesthesia care delivery across a range of surgical specialties within an inpatient and operating room setting. The facility operates under a medical direction model and maintains structured workflows to support consistent perioperative care delivery. Locum tenens CRNA coverage is sought beginning in late January through February on an ongoing basis to address staffing needs within the Anesthesia Department.

The area is home to a major research university recognized for its medical, veterinary, and law programs, contributing to a dynamic academic and professional environment. Recreational opportunities include hiking at Rock Bridge State Park, exploring the MKT Katy Trail, and kayaking, as well as attending collegiate sporting events. Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services under medical direction during day shifts within an inpatient and operating room setting, following a 4x10-hour shift schedule with no call coverage required. The surgical case mix includes General, Bread and Butter, Vascular, Outpatient, Plastic, GYN, and Urology procedures, offering clinical variety across multiple surgical service lines. Pediatric, OB, cardiac, heads, and trauma cases are excluded from this assignment. Board certification is required for all clinicians considered for this locum tenens engagement.
