Job Description
A respected cardiology practice in southeastern Massachusetts is seeking a Physician Assistant to join its growing cardiovascular team at a leading community hospital. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced cardiologists while providing inpatient cardiac care in a collaborative, team-focused environment.
Position Overview
- Provide inpatient cardiovascular care and consultation support
- Evaluate patients admitted with a variety of cardiac conditions
- Assist with pre- and post-procedure management for interventional cardiology patients
- Coordinate care plans with physicians, hospital staff, primary care providers, and referring clinicians
- Participate in discharge planning and continuity of care initiatives
- Opportunity to receive training in cardiac stress test supervision
- No STEMI response responsibilities
- No catheterization lab scrubbing requirements
- Schedule includes three 10-hour weekday shifts with rotating daytime weekend coverage
