Wound Care Nurse Practitioner Locums Job in Ohio | Monday–Friday | 12/22/25 – 3/31/26 | Assignment #112650

Coverage Details:
-- December 22, 2025 – March 31, 2026
-- 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday (flexible; open to candidates available Monday, Thursday, Friday)

Requirements:
-- Active Ohio license – required
-- BLS – required
-- ACLS preferred for HBO

Required Duties:
-- Treat and manage vascular, pressure, and diabetic ulcers
-- Initiate preventative measures and provide comprehensive wound management
-- Apply topical therapies and educate patients/support on care techniques
-- Assess and treat draining wounds and fistulae
-- Implement preventative actions to reduce ulcer incidence
-- Provide instruction on proper wound dressing
-- Supervise hyperbaric oxygen treatment

Types of Wounds Treated:
-- Acute, surgical, traumatic, non-healing surgical wounds
-- Ulcers: arterial, pressure, venous insufficiency, diabetic
-- Chronic venous insufficiency, pilonidal cysts, gangrene, radiation injury, burns

Treatments Used:
-- Bioengineered skin, debridement, HBOT
-- Incision and drainage, negative pressure-assisted wound closure
-- Post-surgical incision management, skin grafting
-- Unna boot, total contact casting

Assignment Details:
-- 15–30 patients per day
-- Outpatient clinic
-- EMR: Epic
