Vascular Surgery NP or PA Locums Job | OR + Clinic Coverage Starting Late March/Early April + Ongoing 

Jackson and Coker is partnered with a facility on the eastern Florida coast that needs 1-3 NPs or PAs that are skilled and experienced with Vascular Surgery (first assist required) starting in late March / early April, depending on privileges. The facility's preference would be to work with 2 providers that could rotate a 7 on, 7 off schedule, to cover each month in full. Are you available? 

PRIVILEGE REQUIREMENTS: 
-- Must be able to provide two leadership references and one peer reference from the last 24 months (CMO, Chief of Staff, Medical Staff president, Surgery/ENT Dept. Chair, Cred. committee chair, etc.)
-- Must be able to provide up to date case logs 
-- Must have a clean background (no red flags or malpractice settlements)

Details/Requirements for Assignment #113426:
-- Active Florida license + current DEA required
-- Seeking TWO Vascular APP Locums to each do a 7 on 7 off schedule rotation
-- Coverage is hospital based for rounding, consults, post surgical follow-ups (all collaborative with MD) and First Assist obligations
-- Will work approximately 10-12 hours / day in the hospital
-- Call coverage: starting out at 9 days/month (every Monday, one weekend, and two weekdays)
-- Call Coverage will increase to 18 days in May, and shift to daily coverage by July as permanent physicians start and locums phase out.
-- Must be comfortable with Carotid endarterectomy,  aneurysm repair, Varicose vein procedures, etc.
-- Group consists of 3 Surgeons (1 perm/2 locums) but are phasing out locums with 2 perms coming in (1 in May & 1 in July)
-- Inpatient Volume: Average of 15-20 hospital based patients/day in collaboration with Surgeon
-- Procedure Volume: Can anticipate up to 4-5 procedures per day 
-- Facility is a designated level 2 trauma center - has full trauma support staff
-- Facility detail: 490+ bed facility, designated level II trauma center, Epic EMR
