Trauma Surgery Physician Assistant Locums Job in New Jersey | 12 Hour Shifts | Beginning May 1 - December 31 | Assignment #113957

Coverage Details
-- 12.5-hour shifts, 3 days per week
-- Nights and day shifts (approximately 60% nights, 40% days)
-- Night shifts are preferred
-- 1–3 night shifts per week
-- No 24-hour shifts or reverse 24s
-- A provider may work a day shift followed by a next-day night shift

Requirements
-- Advanced Trauma Life Support
-- ACLS
-- PALS
-- New Jersey license
-- Up-to-date CDS and DEA
-- Trauma level experience
-- ICU experience preferred
-- Trauma or critical care experience; ED/critical care acceptable
-- Must be able to cover pediatrics and occasional OR

Required Procedures/Skills
-- Central line placement
-- Arterial line placement
-- Chest tube placement
-- Simple and intermediate wound repair

Assignment Details
-- Setting: Inpatient – Trauma Surgery
-- Patient load: 10–25
-- Facility Trauma Level: ACS Level 1, Peds and Adult
-- First assist not required (may be needed occasionally)
-- Bedside procedures preferred: ultrasound-guided central lines, ultrasound arterial lines, chest tubes, laceration repair, FAST
