Schedule: Monday – Friday (No call, no weekends)
Job Description: An established facility in Northern Minnesota is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner for an Orthopedic Surgery locum tenens assignment. This role is heavily focused on spine health and offers a consistent weekday schedule with no call or weekend requirements, ensuring a predictable work-life balance.
Clinical Details:

Caseload: 90% Spine; 10% Total joints (hips, knees, and minimally invasive spine). No robotics.

Surgical Cases: Includes Oblique Lateral Lumbar Interbody Fusion (OLIF), Scoliosis, and Kyphosis.

Setting: A mix of OR and Clinic. You will typically be in the OR one day a week (Wednesdays), with an occasional second day on Mondays or Tuesdays.

Patient Volume: 10–12 patients per day in the clinic.

Duties: Comprehensive care including pre-operative and post-operative management, wound management, and monitoring surgical sites.

EMR: Epic
Requirements:

Certification: Board Certified Nurse Practitioner.

Life Support: Current ACLS and BLS certifications.

Licensure: We will license you for Minnesota!

Credentials: DEA required.
Travel & Logistics:

Schedule Flexibility: While a 5-day week is preferred, a 4-day schedule may be considered for providers who wish to travel home.

Commute: The facility is approximately 45 minutes from Grand Forks Airport and 1 hour and 25 minutes from Fargo, ND. Providers must be comfortable with driving from these locations upon arrival.
