Requirements

-- New Mexico controlled substance license

Required Procedures / Skills
-- Clinic-based orthopedic care
-- Management of clinic flow
-- Medical orthopedics and follow-ups
-- Pre-operative H&Ps
-- Post-operative care (hospital and clinic)

Assignment Details
-- Practice setting: Inpatient and outpatient
-- High-volume clinic (35–50 patients per day)
-- Patient population: All ages, pediatrics 8 years and older
-- Walk-ins, X-rays, and podiatry cases included
-- Beds in hospital: 162
-- EMR: Athena and Cerner
-- Support staff: 1 MA, 1 office staff
-- Temporary privileges available
-- Facility Trauma Level: 3
