Neurosurgery APP Locums Job in Mississippi | Seeking Clinic or Inpatient Weekday Coverage | No Call & No OR/1st Assist Required | ASAP Start

Jackson and Coker's valued client in central Mississippi is seeking an NP or PA that has training and/or experience working in Neurosurgery to assist with weekday coverage starting ASAP and ongoing. The site has two openings and is willing to accept candidates interested in working in either the clinic setting OR the inpatient setting starting ASAP (45 day credentialing period).

Clinic Coverage need: 
* Seeking a candidate to work 8A-5P, Monday - Thursday each week
* ASAP start (likely June & ongoing), looking for a minimum of two weeks/month
* Will work alongside 2-3 Neurosurgeons & able to collaborate effectively with surgeons 
* CLINIC Skills/Preferences:  Be able to provide comprehensive neurosurgical history and physical exams, create & manage detailed notes, orders and interprets diagnostic imaging (CT/MRI), manage pre & post operative patient care, neurological exams 
* Anticipated volume: 10-15 PPD in clinic 

Inpatient Coverage need: 
* Seeking a candidate to work 8A-5P Monday - Friday each week doing inpatient rounding, consults & post-ops
* ASAP start (likely June & ongoing), looking for a minimum of 2 weeks/month
* Work alongside 2-3 Neurosurgeons 
* Inpatient Skills/preferences: provide comprehensive inpatient neurosurgical care, including preoperative workups & postoperative monitoring
* Create / manage detailed notes and collaboration with Surgeons 
* Average of 12-16 PPD
* Complete daily patient rounding, consults & post operative follow ups 

General Requirements:
- Seeking candidates that have worked in the Neurosurgery space and are comfortable evaluating neurosurgical history / physical examinations 
- Must have an active & unrestricted MS medical license and DEA
- Will not work in the OR, neurosurgery OR/1st assist is not a requirement
