Cardiovascular Surgery PA Inpatient/OR coverage | Northeast Texas | Seeking Long Weekends Primarily June - October + All of November

Jackson and Coker is working with a facility in northeastern Texas that needs Cardiovascular Physician Assistant inpatient support starting in early July & ongoing through the end of 2026 (with the potential to extend into 2027).

The client's need is in result of a staffing shortage coupled with providers taking leave throughout the year for various reasons. They're seeking 1-2 PAs to assist with inpatient support consisting of rounding, consults, 1st assist in the OR & inpatient call coverage.

Coverage needed: 
--July 1st starting at 7am – July 14 ending at 7am (W-Tues)
--July 27 starting at 7am – July 29 ending at 5pm (M-W)
--August 7 starting at 7am – August 10 ending at 7am (F-M)
--Sept 3 starting at 5pm – Sept 7 ending at 7am (Th-M)
--Sept 18 starting at 7am – Sept 20 ending at 5pm (F-Sun)
--Sept 25 starting at 7am – Sept 27 ending at 5pm (F-Sun)
--Oct 2 starting at 7am – Oct 4 ending at 5pm (F-Sun)
--Oct 9 starting at 7am – Oct 11 ending at 5pm (F-Sun)
--Oct 16 starting at 7am – Oct 18 ending at 5pm (F-Sun)
--Oct 23 starting at 7am -November 30 ending at 7am (FULL MONTH of coverage due to a paternity leave)
--Dec 4 starting at 7am – Dec 6 ending at 5pm (F-Sun)
--Dec 11 starting at 7am – Dec 13 ending at 5pm (F-Sun)
--Dec 18 starting at 7am –  Jan 4, 2027 ending at 7am (F-M)

Details/Requirements for Assignment #114424:
» Active Texas license & DEA
» Board Certified or true Board Eligible required
» Must be skilled & experienced in Cardiovascular Surgery (EVH required) + 1st assist in OR
» Will be covering 8-10 hours per day in the hospital & cover night/weekend call as 1st assist 
» Level III Trauma Center, 300+ beds, Epic EMR
» Clean background preferred for privileging
» Can anticipate working along a surgeon during CABGs, valve replacements & other cardiac surgeries
