Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant Locums Job l Northern California | Ongoing and Starting July

Description/Requirements for Assignment #115041:
* Active California license and Board Certification required
* All shifts 7am-5pm onsite then night call 5pm-7am
* Currently doing average of 10-11 heart surgeries per month
* Thoracic cases that the PA may also assist with
* Rounds every morning and the PA’s are writing notes on post op patients
* Averaging less than 10 patients in the hospital at a time
* Follow-up clinic at the hospital in the afternoon on Tuesday and Thursday (often after a morning surgery) and see up to 6 patients
* Minimal callback during night call
* Setting: Level II Trauma Center
* EMR: Cerner Care B with SurgiNet
* 1-2 Hours of Callback per shift
* Substantial experience in endovascular vein harvesting (EVH) required
