This inpatient facility is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Associate for locum tenens coverage to support the existing cardiothoracic surgery service line. The facility maintains established surgical infrastructure and protocols to support coordinated patient care across floor and operating room settings. On-site support systems are in place to ensure quality care delivery throughout the coverage period.

The cardiothoracic surgery service line requires locum physician associate coverage for 5-7 days per month to support one full-time APP vacancy. The clinical team consists of one surgeon and two APPs covering both floor and operating room responsibilities, with 24-hour call coverage required. Clinicians must hold Endovascular Vein Harvesting certification as a condition of this assignment. Prescriptive authority is required for this position.
