This academic medical center serves as a Level I trauma facility with advanced specialty care capabilities. The emergency department features approximately 35 beds supporting comprehensive trauma and cardiac care services.

The physician associate will provide operative support for routine cardiac surgeries including AVR, MVR, and CABG procedures. Additional responsibilities include supporting routine vascular and thoracic surgeries at this Level I trauma facility with low volume trauma calls. Weekend call coverage is required with board certification mandatory for this position.
