Coverage Details
-- September 14 – October 12, 7a – 7a
-- October 23 – November 9, 7a – 7a
-- November 20 – December 7, 7a – 7a

Shift Description
-- Monday – Friday, 7a – 4p
-- Night call, 4p – 7a
-- Saturday and Sunday 24-hour call coverage, 7a – 7a
-- Night call and weekend call required

Requirements
-- Indiana license
-- NCCPA
-- Local candidates – highly preferred
-- Will not accept new graduates

Required Procedures / Skills
-- Maquet vein harvesting
-- Cardiothoracic surgery experience/skills including office, bedside and OR - Highly Preferred

Assignment Details
-- OR only (first assist role) - Call for OR only; call back if needed
-- Duties include assisting in surgery, writing prescriptions, rounding, ordering tests, pre-op physical exams, suture removal, and vein harvesting
-- Daily responsibilities include hospital rounding followed by time in the OR
-- Perform procedures including chest tube removal, pacing wire removal, wound care, and related bedside care
-- Average patients per day: 10 outpatient and 5–8 inpatient
-- EMR: Epic
