A level II trauma facility is seeking a cardiothoracic physician associate for locum tenens coverage. They use EPIC EMR.

The facility is located in Colorado.

A cardiovascular APP is needed for 6 months of coverage at a two-physician practice. The provider must be board-certified with BLS/ACLS (AHA) and have vein harvesting experience. They will assist with procedures, including CABG, MVR, AVR, dissections, fistulas, and thoracic surgeries, managing 2-3 surgeries per day, 5-6 inpatient cases, and 3-5 clinic patients daily. The role includes a rotating on-call schedule, on call for 7-9 consecutive days, followed by 5-7 days off.
