Are you a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with a background in complex surgical procedures? We are seeking a dedicated provider for a 24-hour call-based assignment in a dynamic medical group. This role offers a long-term 6-month engagement with a focused caseload and competitive tiered compensation.

Position Overview
--Role: Locum Tenens APP (NP or PA)
--Start Date: ASAP (following a ~90-day credentialing period)
--Duration: 6 months
--Schedule: 4 shifts per month
--Shift Type: 24-hour call (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
--Setting: Hospital and Medical Office
--EMR: Cerner

Clinical Responsibilities
--This is a comprehensive surgical role requiring technical proficiency in the OR and diligent patient management.
--Surgical First Assisting: High focus on CABG, AVRs, and Lung cases.
--Required Skill: Vein Harvesting proficiency is a mandate for this position.
--Daily Duties: Hospital rounding, patient rooming, and detailed charting.
--Patient Volume: Manage an average of 4–5 patients per day.
--Call Structure: Pager-based call; you must be available to respond and report as needed.

Requirements
--Board Status: Board Certified in CT Surgery.
--Note: Candidates BC in General Surgery with a CT Surgery Fellowship will also be considered.
--Licensure: Active California State License is required.
--Experience: Proven surgical experience is a must. No-surgical experience is a deal-breaker for this facility.
--Certifications: Current BLS.
--Travel: Local candidates are highly preferred.
