Nurse Practitioner (FNP) – Public Health (0.75 FTE)
City of Racine – Racine, WI
Pay Range: $54.16 – $69.62/hour (+4% differential for City residents)

Position Summary
Provide patient-centered care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up, with a focus on reproductive and preventive health services. Work independently under the supervision of the Public Health Administrator.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide primary care services including history, physical exams, diagnosis, and treatment
- Deliver reproductive and sexual health services: STI testing/treatment, contraception (including LARC), pregnancy testing, and cervical cancer screening
- Perform wellness exams, patient education, and counseling
- Assess and address holistic patient needs (medical, psychosocial, environmental)
- Coordinate care, referrals, and case management
- Support disease prevention, outreach, and community partnerships
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards (HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA)
- Participate in quality improvement, chart audits, and program development
Minimum Qualifications
- MSN with Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification
- Active Wisconsin RN and APNP licenses
- Current DEA registration and NPI number
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience
- BLS certification
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in women’s health, OB/GYN, or reproductive/sexual health
- Experience with Title X family planning services
- Public health or government experience
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Experience with diverse or underserved populations
- Experience with data analysis, program evaluation, or community outreach
