The Opportunity

We are adding to our team and are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join an established outpatient private mental health practice serving Commercial insurance and Kentucky Medicaid patients. This role is best suited for a clinician who is comfortable practicing independently yet willing to collaborate with fellow PMHNP's in the office if needed, values safe and ethical prescribing, has compassion for the mental health population of patients, and is seeking a stable, long-term practice environment.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide medication management visits
• Diagnose and treat individuals aged 5 years through 65 years old.
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications in compliance with Kentucky and federal regulations
• Maintain timely, audit-ready documentation
• Use appropriate E/M billing coding for all documentation
• Collaborate as clinically appropriate or needed.

Required Qualifications (Please Read Carefully)

• Active Kentucky APRN, PMHNP license
• Board-certified PMHNP
• Minimum 3 years of outpatient psychiatric experience required
• Active DEA registration
• Experience safely managing all psychiatric conditions
• Comfortable working with commercial insurance and Kentucky Medicaid
