About the Clinician's WorkdayThe psychiatric nurse practitioner will deliver comprehensive psychiatric services across two specialized locations, working Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at an outpatient behavioral health clinic and Tuesday and Thursday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM at a residential treatment center. Clinical duties include conducting thorough psychiatric evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and managing psychotropic medications for adults with mental health and substance use disorders. The clinician will see 8-12 patients per day while maintaining detailed electronic documentation and participating in treatment planning meetings. Additional responsibilities include providing specialized care for patients with co-occurring disorders and collaborating with nursing staff, behavioral health professionals, and administrative support personnel to ensure coordinated care delivery across both facility locations.
