The facility operates as an occupational medicine clinic providing comprehensive workplace health services and urgent care treatment in an outpatient setting. The clinic serves both private companies and governmental agencies through scheduled appointments and walk-in services, utilizing AllScripts EMR system for patient documentation and management. New clinicians typically receive a one-week orientation and training period alongside a permanent physician before working independently at the same location for three-month assignments.

Visitors can explore state parks, take scenic drives, and experience entertainment venues such as studios and theme parks. The region provides outdoor activities ranging from coastal excursions to mountain experiences, with options spanning from one-hour bay tours to extended park visits.

The Physician Assistant will treat both scheduled and walk-in work-related injuries and urgent care patients in an outpatient clinic setting, working Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with no call requirements. The clinician will diagnose and treat occupational injuries, perform DOT certifications and pre-placement physical examinations for various employers and governmental agencies, and evaluate urgent care patients on a walk-in basis. The position involves maintaining an average caseload of 20-25 patients per day with 90% occupational medicine cases and 10% urgent care, completing all documentation using AllScripts EMR system, and communicating with employers regarding patient care plans. The clinician will participate in a one-week orientation period alongside a permanent physician before working independently and may oversee and collaborate with advanced practice providers in the clinic.
