The clinic serves both private companies and governmental agencies through scheduled appointments and walk-in services. New clinicians typically receive one week of orientation and training alongside a permanent physician before working independently.

The nurse practitioner will diagnose and treat work-related injuries while performing pre-placement, DOT, public safety, and surveillance physical examinations for private companies and governmental agencies. The position involves evaluating and treating urgent care patients on a walk-in basis with patient demographics consisting of 90% occupational medicine cases and 10% urgent care. The clinician will perform in-office procedures, communicate with employers to provide medical guidance, and complete all documentation using AllScripts EMR system while exhibiting professional behaviors including welcoming, skillful, and respectful interactions at all times. The role requires maintaining an average caseload of 20-25 patients per day while working Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with no call requirements.
