Hospitalist - NP job located in South Carolina

A highly respected, nonprofit healthcare organization located on the Southwest coast of South Carolina is seeking an experienced Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner to join its expanding inpatient team for a day shift position. This role offers the opportunity to provide high?quality, patient?focused care while collaborating closely with an established group of hospitalists and intensivists in a supportive, mission?driven environment.

Position Overview

The Hospitalist NP will be responsible for rounding on hospitalized patients and contributing to coordinated inpatient care. This position is ideal for a clinically confident provider who thrives in a team?based setting and can manage multiple patients efficiently.

Position Highlights

Schedule: 7:00 a.m. ? 7:00 p.m., 7 on / 7 off

Support: Daytime backup from hospitalists and intensivists

Employment Model: Hospital?employed position

Compensation: Strong salary based on experience, plus an annual quality bonus

Qualifications

• Family, Adult Gerontology, or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification considered
• Minimum of two years of hospitalist experience required (no new graduates)
• Strong clinical judgment with the ability to manage multiple admissions concurrently
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team?oriented approach
