Seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our Skilled Nursing Facility Service Line in Rutland, Vermont!Details: Provide primary healthcare to our geriatric population residing in Skilled Nursing Facilities in the greater Rutland Area Our SNF Nurse Practitioners perform selective medical services through a collaborative agreement with a supervising MD/DO Must enjoy working with a dedicated team of highly motivated professionals who are committed to providing an integrated, community-based approach to care 5+ years Physician Assistant experience in an office setting preferred Essential functions include though are not limited to: Obtains complete medical history and physical examination on patients Reviews medical records Interprets and integrates data to determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures Establishes presumptive diagnosis Orders appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures Develops a therapeutic plan for patients Provides orders for drugs and controlled substances Serves as the resource and#8220;go toand#8221; Provider for designated SNF Collaborates and coordinates care with SNF Care Coordinators Works collaboratively with other community partners/Providers to optimize patient care Assists in the development and monitoring of Quality Improvement for SNF residents Participates in and#8220;on call and#8220;coverage for SNF Service Line Provides ongoing continuity of care Benefits: Very competitive salary and#8211; commensurate with experience: $125K-$160K Retirement plan with employer match Vacation of 4 weeks plus holidays Malpractice provided Up to $10k in relocation expenses 4-day work week with flexible hours Education loan/repayment eligible Community: Nestled among rolling Green Mountain landscapes, this vibrant small city offers an ideal blend of outdoor adventure, historic charm, and modern convenience, all within easy reach of larger metropolitan hubs like Burlington, Albany, and even Boston for weekend trips.
