Portsmouth Regional Hospital has an excellent opportunity for a hospital-based Physician Assistant to provide orthopedic trauma coverage at a level II trauma hospital in Portsmouth, NH.  This is an exceptional opportunity for an orthopedic PA who wishes to urtilize their experience, skills, and potential.

Description and Qualifications:

Excellent to practice with level of autonomy, and in collaboration with the on-call orthopedic surgeon
Weekdays 3 pm - 11 pm shift to cover fully hospital on-site orthopedic trauma with no call coverage
Rounding, consults, orthopedic ER coverage and some OR 1st assist when needed
Must be self-motiviated
Orthopedic experience is valued and needed.  Triage skills and time management atpness required
Must demonstrate quality professional interpersonal skills to communicate well with clinical teams, departments, nursting staff
New Hampshire licensure or ability to obtain
NCCPA certified
