Job Description

Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner Newark, DE

4-day work week (Monday- Thursday)

 

We are looking for a motivated Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner to join our medical practice full time in Newark, DE. Our ideal Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is confident, dedicated, positive, and organized, and enjoys collaborating with a knowledgeable and well-respected team of professionals, to offer a comprehensive approach to patients living with acute and chronic pain. The position requires patient evaluations, creating care plans, completing patient notes,  joint and IM injections, managing our medical weight loss patients, and other procedures. The population is mainly adults and the clinic's focus are musculoskeletal/orthopedic disorders, both acute and chronic.

With our multidisciplinary approach to our patient’s health and wellness goals, we can achieve optimal results- leading to healthier lives and greater patient satisfaction.

Duties:

  • Patient exam/evaluation (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent med records/imaging)
  • Order and review tests/labs
  • Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
  • Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment options, rehab/exercises and various modalities
  • Manage patient care
  • Treatments- perform trigger point, joint and regen med injections
  • Documentation and progress notes
  • Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care

 

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in DE
  • Orthopedic, Physical Med and Rehab, or Pain management background is a plus
  • Experience with joint injections a plus
  • Experience with electronic records in a healthcare setting, we use Eclinical works

Schedule:

  • 4-day work week (Monday- Thursday)

 

Compensation:

  • $110k-$130k with production bonus  (DOE)
