A corrections facility is seeking a Family Medicine Physician Associate for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located 3 hours from Anchorage, Alaska.

This role offers a fast one-week credentialing timeline and a schedule of four 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday. The provider will see an average of 812 adult patients per day, along with reviewing outside medical records and labs. Requirements include an active Alaska license, DEA, and a clear background check. Support includes one MD, an NP, nursing staff, and nurse supervisors, ensuring you never work alone.

• Case Load/PPD:  8-12
• Support Staff:  1 MD, NP, nursing staff, nurse supervisors – never work alone! Nursing staff on site provide support and complete booking proces
