Job Description

The primary focus of the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is to provide high-quality care to patients consistent with training and expertise, while improving the health of patients and the community. 

Details:

• Permanent, full-time position 

• Provide case consultation to PCPs and BH team members regarding psychotropic medication questions

• Provide patient education and medication advice to diverse patients

• Maintain charts in electronic health record, NextGen

• Flexible and able to work effectively in fast-paced, high-volume primary care clinic

Qualifications

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner

• Valid California medical license

• Experience in behavioral health triage, crisis intervention, and case management
