Job Description
- EM or FM Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants are needed for this ACU (Fast Track/Urgent Care within the Emergency Department) opportunity
- Eight-hour shifts (8a–4p, 3p–11p), 7 days per week/.8 FTE position
- Compensation: $140K + DOE for 32 hours per week
- Weekend & holiday rotation required
- Meditech Expanse EMR
- Accelerated Care Unit (ACU): 8-bed dedicated zone within the hospital’s Emergency Center
- Treats lower-acuity emergency patients (ESI 3–5) in a high-throughput environment
- Patient population includes both adults and pediatrics
- Focus on rapid assessment, point-of-care treatment, patient education, and safe disposition
- Providers practice independently, with emergency physicians readily available in the adjacent ED
