This Level III facility operates an emergency department providing comprehensive emergency medical services to the community. The facility maintains modern emergency medical equipment and appropriate staffing levels to support quality emergency care delivery with established protocols for patient safety.

The nurse practitioner will provide comprehensive emergency medical care during 4-6 shifts per month working 11A-11P schedules. The clinician must have emergency department experience and demonstrate independent management of all patient acuity levels with physician backup support. Essential responsibilities include leading codes, performing intubations, and managing approximately 50 patients in a 24-hour period.
