Hospital in the Lincoln/Springfield area is seeking an experienced CRNA for the Main OR to join their team.

Shift: Monday-Friday 6:45am-3:15pm - No weekends, no call

Requirements:
 

• 2 years of CRNA experience
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse in State of Illinois.
• Completed AANA approved course in Anesthesia
• Masters degree
• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
• AHA Healthcare Provider BLS and ACLS certification required.
• NRP certification required before completing their orientation period.
• Knowledge of Epidurals

CRNA duties include the following:
 

• Administer & monitor general anesthesia or monitored sedation.
• Proficient in airway management including mechanical ventilation.
• Placement of peripheral intravenous catheters.
• Pre-anesthesia evaluation.
• Post anesthesia care/discharge.
• Evaluate laboratory & diagnostic studies.
• Proficient in pain management.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development principles, from neonate to geriatrics.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, neonate through geriatrics.

Area info: 35 minutes south of Lincoln; 45 minutes west of Decatur, 90 minutes from St. Louis, MO and 3 hours from Chicago.
