This regional hospital provides both emergency and surgical services, operating as a Level II Trauma Center with an emergency department of approximately 30 beds. It supports a broad range of acute care needs for the surrounding community.

The facility is located in Redding, CA Northern California city known for outdoor activities and healthcare services.

The role requires competency in low- to moderate-risk procedures such as laceration repair, peripheral IV placement, and simple fracture or dislocation reductions. Providers must also be able to perform higher-risk procedures including G-tube placement, endotracheal intubation, cardioversion/defibrillation, LMA use, paracentesis, chest tube insertion, and central or arterial line placement.
