Nurse Practitioner Raleigh, NC 27609

 

We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join our group full time in Raleigh, NC. We are an independent Urgent Care clinic, that is growing and looking to add a 4th provider to our team. This will be a Monday through Friday position from 8am- 5 pm with no weekends. We see a mixed aged patient panel with mostly private insurance coverage. This is an Outpatient only position, covering our private Urgent Care practice Monday through Fridays. The NP will be required to see and treat a wide variety of health care issues in patients of all ages in our busy center.

Duties:

  • Performs and documents history and physicals of patients
  • Evaluates and treats common acute conditions, illnesses, or minor trauma
  • Performs in-office procedures
  • Orders and interprets X-rays and other diagnostic tests as needed
  • Prescribe medications, DME, treatment plans
  • Consistently and accurately documents all calls, treatments, medications, etc. in patient chart
  • Instructs and counsels patients regarding diagnosis and follow up steps
  • Responds to all patient questions
  • Assists physicians in addressing urgent patient needs as necessary
  • Performs other duties/projects as assigned
  • Collaborate with other medical providers and staff as needed

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program (NP)
  • NP license in NC
  • Must be comfortable/able to see patients of all age ranges
  • DEA Registration
  • Urgent Care or ER experience a plus

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • 8 am to 5 pm

Salary:

  • $110k-$125k per year
