Physician Assistant Nurse Practitioner Raleigh, NC 27609

 

We are looking for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our group full time in Raleigh, NC. We are an independent Urgent Care clinic, that is growing and looking to add a 4th provider to our team. This will be a Monday through Friday position from 8am- 5 pm with no weekends. We see a mixed aged patient panel with mostly private insurance coverage. This is an Outpatient only position, covering our private Urgent Care practice Monday through Fridays. The PA/NP will be required to see and treat a wide variety of health care issues in patients of all ages in our busy center.

Duties:

  • Performs and documents history and physicals of patients
  • Evaluates and treats common acute conditions, illnesses, or minor trauma
  • Performs in-office procedures
  • Orders and interprets X-rays and other diagnostic tests as needed
  • Prescribe medications, DME, treatment plans
  • Consistently and accurately documents all calls, treatments, medications, etc. in patient chart
  • Instructs and counsels patients regarding diagnosis and follow up steps
  • Responds to all patient questions
  • Assists physicians in addressing urgent patient needs as necessary
  • Performs other duties/projects as assigned
  • Collaborate with other medical providers and staff as needed

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
  • PA or NP license in NC
  • Must be comfortable/able to see patients of all age ranges
  • DEA Registration
  • Urgent Care or ER experience a plus

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • 8 am to 5 pm

Salary:

  • $110-120k per year
