Director of Clinical Operations Mount Laurel, NJ

looking for a Director of Clinical Operations to join our team in Mount Laurel, NJ. Under the direction of the CEO, this position supports the planning and implementation of routine operations within all offices. Collaboratively lead, organize, and assist with the operations and evaluation of clinical initiatives.  Support the development and management of ongoing operational infrastructure and processes for the operation .

Core duties and responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned as it pertains to the role.

  • Lead clinical operations strategic planning activities and translate strategic decisions into actionable operational plans;
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to provide operations support to aid ongoing operations and system(s) enhancement. Anticipate, identify and resolve any issues on an ongoing basis.  Communicate major issues and decisions to CEO for follow up and/or corrective action;
  • Identify the resource needs for implementation of operational plans and develop a resource-tracking process;
  • Develop and routinely update comprehensive medical management work plans and programs;
  • Assist with managing logistics in support of clinically related project deliverables (e.g. face-to-face meetings, virtual training sessions, etc.);
  • Organize and provide ongoing management of training materials;
  • In collaboration with CEO, assess programs, evaluate organizational needs, design process changes, and implement appropriate changes to process flow and patient care for priority initiatives;
  • Responsible for hiring, coaching/counseling, discipline and performance evals for assigned staff.

Job Requirements:         

·         Licensed RN/BSN

·         Master’s degree preferred; ideally in nursing, health sciences, or business

·         Five (5) years of management experience

·         Proven progressive experience in clinical, management and leadership roles in a healthcare system and multi-service provider setting is required 

·         Demonstrated success in operations improvement efforts, cost management initiatives, and health system development and management

·         Decisive leader, with the ability to understand physicians’ viewpoints and needs, and work strategically in the best interest of patients and the facility
