Nurse Practitioner Eatontown, NJ
Specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation, our physicians are also proud leaders in the fields of integrative functional medicine, including IV nutrition, and regenerative medicine. Other services include joint/trigger point injections, allergy/food testing, and anti-aging/HRT. Located within a wellness center, alongside a health club and spa, the practice prides itself on outcome based treatment plans and patient experience. We do not practice pain management and refer out those seeking pain management medications.
Job Description:
- NP monitors patients’ progress by collaborating with other providers and by re-evaluating the patient every 4 weeks.
- Orders diagnostic testing such as MRIs, x-rays, ultrasounds, and dopplers.
- Prescribes and infuses Vitamin Infusions
- Performs injections (trigger point, joint, PRP, stem cell, immunotherapy, and vitamin supplements).
- Performs blood collection
- Reviews all bloodwork and diagnostic testing with the patient and makes recommendations for treatment and refers the patient to other providers as deemed necessary.
- Prescribes Durable Medical Equipment (DME) such as TENS units, Lumbar Support Orthotics, Foot Levelers, Posture Vests, as well as knee, ankle, and wrist braces are also prescribed to patients based on medical necessity
- Performs employee health assessments and DOT exams.
- Performs aesthetic procedures such as Botox and Dermal fillers.
- Appropriate documentation of each patient’s visit by entering a SOAP note into the EHR.
