Physician Assistant Nurse Practitioner Palmdale, CA

$180,000-210,000 annually

 

We are looking for a motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our medical team full time in Palmdale, CA. In this position, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with vascular disorders/disease and you will be assisting with pre-procedure assessments and post-procedural follow-ups for patients undergoing endovascular procedures. We are seeking a candidate that possesses the commitment to provide effective and quality care to our patients and to be a long-term member of our growing team.

We are a vascular and vein care practice providing quality, personalized medical specialty care to the community of Palmdale for over 5 years. We diagnose and treat vascular, vein and arterial conditions. Our focus is to deliver innovative, effective, safe, and compassionate medical care. Using minimally invasive interventions, we are committed to excellence in the field of vascular and interventional radiology. We provide advanced specialty care to our patients, collaborating with referring physicians on patient cases.

 

Duties:

  • Gather clinical information and assess patients prior to procedures
  • Patient Consultation – performing history and physical exam, review pertinent documents/labs/imaging results
  • Ordering Diagnostic tests and reviewing results
  • Collaboration with the physician, intradisciplinary team members and staff as needed for comprehensive patient care
  • Managing all aspects of patient care in the outpatient clinic, including addressing patient calls
  • Patient education as to the diagnosis, pre and post procedure protocols, and answer any patient questions
  • Confirm written orders, consents, and lab work are completed and documented in accordance with facility policies prior to procedures
  • Maintain competency with all emergency operational procedures, and initiate emergency measures, as needed
  • Documentation- timely and accurate
  • Complies with HIPPA policies and standards regarding patient information and medical records

 

Qualifications:

  • PA/NP License to practice in CA
  • PA-C or Certified Nurse Practitioner (Required)
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) program
  • Basic Life Support certification (BLS)
  • Advance Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS)

 

Schedule:

  • Full time

Compensation (range):

  • $180,000-210,000 annually
